Discover Sen Acupressure - the perfect advanced training after a Thaiyoga massage basic seminar!
The Sen energy lines and acupressure points are easier to understand for people from Western culture, because they can be felt in an intuitive way and are easier to learn. Nevertheless, they achieve equally effective results as traditional Chinese medicine with its meridians and acupuncture points.
Based on centuries of Thai medicine and massage, Sen acupuncture is an integral part of Thaiyoga massage. In this workshop we will focus on the Sen lines and the acupressure points located on and around the energy lines. The Sen energy lines are the energetic channels for vital energy in the body. By targeting the energy lines and acupressure points we can help with various ailments.
Acupressure can help reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Stimulation of certain points releases endorphins that increase well-being and have a harmonizing effect on the body. Acupressure can help relieve various types of pain, including headaches, migraines, back pain or muscle aches.
In traditional Ayurvedic medicine, acupressure is believed to harmonize the flow of energy in the body. By stimulating certain acupressure points, blockages in the energy flow are supposed to be released and balance restored.
The targeted stimulation of acupressure points can improve circulation and promote the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues. This can support overall health and strengthen the immune system. Sen acupuncture is an integral part of Thaiyoga massage.
The treatment includes working on all the traditional 10 Sen energy lines, the main energy lines of Thai massage, on the entire body from the feet to the head to activate and sensitize the acupressure points.
Only when the acupressure points are then specifically worked on manually by pressing, rubbing, pulling and tapping can they develop their maximum effect.
In this workshop, you will gain the knowledge and practice necessary to target acupressure points that can offer relief from headaches, knee pain, and back pain.
In addition, you will learn a massage technique that can not only be used for relaxation, but can also improve the physical and mental performance of athletes and artists when it needs to be called upon.
This training workshop includes meditation and pranayama, the art of breathing.
